What's going on?

Ok so I knew going into this that I would have a hard time posting regularly. Maybe I just need to force myself to come up with something, anything, to post every day. Maybe after the habit of posting daily sinks in then the ideas will come easier. I hope.

Ok so what's going on in my world right now? Work is going pretty well. We are busy busy busy and amazingly enough in a time when people are losing jobs left and right, businesses are closing, companies going bankrupt and such, our business is growing rapidly and we have been hiring like mad.

Home life is absolutely fabulous. I am so in love with my husband it isn't even real. He is so wonderful and I consider myself the luckiest woman in the world to have found him. We are in sync on just about everything. Things are great now and only getting better every day. We miss Pixie dearly (hmm...I should do a post on her...) but all is well.

Sean made me a rabbitry for Valentines day (not as sparkly as the beautiful diamond earrings or as tasty as the chocolate covered strawberries but infinitely more useful!!) and boy is it nice to be able to take care of my bunnies without struggling with tarps all the time! It is bright and pretty and easy to keep clean. We will hopefully be having baby bunnies in not too long, I will be sure to post pictures!! I am also looking for some standard Rex does if you know of anyone with any for sale.

The horses are doing pretty good. Starting to shed like mad, I took enough hair off of Rodney yesterday to make two more horses his size! I am so worried about him though. He is doing great now but he always does when the weather is cool, it's when it heats up that we start really struggling to keep any weight on him. I can't let him cycle up and down like he did last year, up to a great weight, all the way back down to a low body score during the summer and back up to a decent weight for the winter. It can't be good for his sytem to lose and gain and lose like that all the time. I am afraid if we can't figure out why he's doing this that I will have to put him down this summer. He seems so healthy otherwise and he's sure full of life but I hate to see him get so skinny no matter what I do. *sigh* Silly old man anyways. He's had a few bad years in his life but hopefully the majority of his 23 years have been good ones. Hopefully he does know he is loved dearly anyways. He acts like he does.

Dad is doing well. For those who don't know, he had a heart attack and a triple bypass on January 30th. I went to Louisiana to take care of him when he got out of the hospital. I was down there for two weeks. He is back to his old self now but improved! He has quit smoking, is working out and eating better so hopefully I will have him around for a long time yet.

Ok well I'm out of immediate ideas and have some work to do (they actually expect me to do that while I'm here sheesh the nerve) so I will say goodbye for now and will do a Pixie post in a while.
